The opportunity now is to build on that foundation by bringing more organizations into the network and turning growing industry awareness into active participation.”
HILVERSUM, NORTH HOLLAND, NETHERLANDS, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Storecove today announced that Nikkie Bakker, Business Development Director at Storecove, has been appointed Chair of the Digital Business Networks Alliance (DBNAlliance) Membership & Market Adoption Committee, representing Storecove within the Alliance.— Nikkie Bakker
The appointment was announced following the DBNAlliance Annual Members Day, held at the Microsoft Campus in Miami on September 16, 2026. The event brought together members from across the e-invoicing ecosystem to discuss the continued development and adoption of the DBNAlliance network in North America.
The Membership & Market Adoption Committee is focused on driving wider adoption of the network across the United States. Its priorities include attracting and activating new members and service providers, increasing market awareness, strengthening engagement among existing members, and encouraging more businesses and technology providers to participate in the network.
As Chair, Bakker will lead the committee’s activities on behalf of Storecove, a global e-invoicing solution provider and access point, working closely with members and other stakeholders to advance these goals. Her responsibilities will include chairing committee meetings and initiatives, supporting the organization of industry events, engaging with prospective members and service providers, and representing the committee externally.
“The DBNAlliance has made important progress in building a community around interoperable e-invoicing in the United States,” said Nikkie Bakker, Business Development Director at Storecove. “The opportunity now is to build on that foundation by bringing more organizations into the network and turning growing industry awareness into active participation. I’m looking forward to working with the committee and the wider DBNAlliance community to grow membership and, ultimately, increase adoption of the network.”
Storecove has been an active member of the DBNAlliance for several years and has supported the Alliance’s efforts to advance interoperable e-invoicing and digital business document exchange in the United States. As a global e-invoicing service provider, Storecove helps enterprises and software companies connect to e-invoicing networks, including Peppol and the DBNAlliance, while meeting e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements worldwide through a single API connection.
“Nikkie’s appointment reflects Storecove’s continued commitment to the development of e-invoicing in the United States,” said Patrick Steenkist, CEO of Storecove. “For Storecove, supporting the growth of an open and interoperable network in the U.S. is important because it aligns closely with our mission to make electronic invoicing simpler and more accessible for businesses and software providers in North America. The U.S. based open exchange network can help reduce fragmentation, make it easier for companies to connect with trading partners, and support more efficient digital exchange of invoices and other business documents. We’re pleased to contribute to that growth and to the broader adoption of interoperable e-invoicing in the U.S.”
The appointment comes at a time of growing interest in electronic invoicing in the United States, as businesses, software providers and other industry stakeholders increasingly look for more standardized and interoperable ways to exchange invoices and other business documents.
As adoption grows, interoperable networks can help U.S. businesses connect more easily with buyers, suppliers and technology providers, while reducing reliance on one-to-one integrations and manual processes. This creates a more scalable foundation for digital document exchange across a wider range of trading relationships.
Through the Membership & Market Adoption Committee, and as part of her business development role at Storecove, Bakker will focus on helping turn that growing interest into broader participation in the DBNAlliance by expanding the member and service provider community, increasing market awareness and supporting wider adoption of the network across the United States, ultimately helping create a more connected and efficient environment for digital business exchange.
